New design for 2025!
An exciting piece that came about from a gorgeous heavy brass frame I found by the roadside! 
It was just the frame only so I knew a mosaic would be perfect. I created a skull on a Web design background. Cleverly using the grout lines as part of the design, each and every cut here is considered and precise.
The skull is made from tile, shells and pottery shards which I tumbled smooth in my tumbler. I love their worn smooth look in contrast to the high shine of the web which is a deep burgundy colour. 
I love that I get to play and be whimsical with my pieces especially this time of year!
This one features a skeleton in a bed of thinset that I painted with Stuart Semples 'blackest black' paint. Surrounded by shiny red lips with a plate edge and glass drop highlight and teeth made from a floral plate edge. It's the little details like that that really make these pieces stand out.
Indoor display only. Comes fixed with a 'D'ring ready to display on your wall. 
It measures 51cm x 28cm (20" x 11") INCLUDING the frame (max dimensions)
