This new collection is based on vintage traditional style tattoos. 
Tattoo styles translate well in mosaic and I love the idea of having these iconic designs in an interior design setting too.
Key elements of this piece were chosen as follows...
Anchor - for grounding
Etched Heart - Marks and scars may be left behind but to love again is beautiful
Deaths Head Moth - denotes renewal/change
Each piece is one of a kind and wont be repeated. This one features a red ceramic heart on an anchor surrounded by pearls and mirror then a banner. I've used many elements in this such as rare gold china, spent casings, glitter glass and beads. I've hand etched the red tile in the heart with swirly whirls! The deaths head moth is an added detail which makes this piece so interesting and unique.
